In one paragraph
Housecall Pro has three plans sized by team: Basic (1 user), Essentials (up to 5) and Max (up to 8, then $35/mo per extra user). Annual billing saves 9–25% depending on the plan. The real budgeting risk is the add-ons: AI CSR, Pipeline, Voice, marketing Campaigns, Websites and more are sold separately without published prices.
Plans and prices
| Plan | Users | Month-to-month | Billed annually | Notable features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 1 user | $79/mo | $59/mo |
|
| Essentials | Up to 5 users | $189/mo | $149/mo |
|
| Max | Up to 8 users | $329/mo | $299/mo |
|
- Free trial: 14 days, no credit card (Max plan features)
- Extra users: $35/mo per added user on Max
- Payment processing: Card processing "as low as 2.59%" (exact rate depends on payment type)
- Paid add-ons: AI CSR; Pipeline; Payroll; Accounting; Voice; Marketing campaigns; Vehicle GPS / dashcams; Websites (add-on prices not published)
Monthly vs annual
| Plan · users | Month-to-month | Annual (per month) | You save per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic · 1 | $79 | $59 | $240 (25%) |
| Essentials · up to 5 | $189 | $149 | $480 (21%) |
| Max · up to 8 | $329 | $299 | $360 (9%) |
On Max the annual discount is small, so paying monthly costs only $30/mo extra and keeps you free to leave. On Basic and Essentials, annual billing is worth it once you’re sure. Annual billing is a 12-month commitment, so read the cancellation terms first.
What a team actually pays
| Team size | Plan | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Basic | $59 |
| 2–5 | Essentials | $149 |
| 6–8 | Max | $299 |
| 10 | Max + 2 extra users | $369 |
The big jump is from 5 to 6 people: $149 to $299 a month, because Essentials caps at five users. If you’re at five and hiring, budget for Max. Max also adds route optimization, recurring service plans and a sales proposal tool.
Costs that aren’t on the price list
- Add-ons without published prices: AI CSR, Sales Proposal Tool (included on Max), Pipeline, Payroll, Accounting, Business Coaching, Voice, Campaigns, vehicle GPS and dashcams, Tap to Pay, and Websites. Ask sales for written prices on every one you’d use.
- Card processing: advertised “as low as 2.59%”. Your real rate depends on payment type, so ask for it in writing too. On $20,000 a month in card payments, every 0.1 points is $20/mo.
- Promotions: when we checked, the pricing page showed short introductory offers. These change, and they may differ between visitors, so budget on the regular prices above.
Is Housecall Pro worth the price?
For crews of 2–5, Essentials is one of the better-value mid-tier plans we track. It includes routes, GPS, job costing, consumer financing and QuickBooks sync. For a solo operator, it costs about twice Jobber Core on annual billing. Compare the two in Jobber vs Housecall Pro, or read the full Housecall Pro review.
