Best Window Cleaning Business Software (2026): 4 Picks for Quotes, Upsells and Routes
Based on official pricing pages, product documentation and public owner feedback. We have not run a hands-on trial for this page yet. How we review
On this page
Our picks
- Best all-in-one for most window cleaners: QuoteIQ, from $29.99 a month, month-to-month
- Best for instant online quotes and upsells: ResponsiBid, free quoting plan; instant quotes and booking from $179 a month
- Best budget pick when you add a crew: Markate, $49.95 a month plus $5 per employee
- Best for storefront billing and mixed services: Jobber, Core from $29 a month billed annually
Window cleaning software has four jobs: price a house by the window, let customers get a price online, keep recurring storefront accounts on schedule, and add screens, tracks and gutters to the ticket. None of these four tools does all of that on its entry plan, so the right pick depends on which job costs you the most time today.
These picks are based on each vendor’s pricing page (checked October 27, 2026), published plan details and public owner discussions. One heads-up: the top search result for this query is QuoteIQ’s own article naming QuoteIQ the best. That doesn’t make it wrong, but it’s vendor content, not an independent review.
A gap to know up front: none of the four pricing pages spells out per-pane or per-window pricing. Each tool has estimates or a quoting calculator, but whether you can set separate prices for standard panes, French panes, second-story glass or inside-and-out is something to confirm in a trial or demo.
Quick comparison
| Compared on | QuoteIQ | ResponsiBid | Markate | Jobber |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | Essentials $29.99 (about $24.99 on yearly billing) | Startup $0 (quoting only) · Scaling $179 | $49.95 · $45.95 annual | Core $49 · $29 annual |
| Crew of 3 | Beginner (2 users) + 1 added user: $124.99 | Same price (unlimited sub-users), but you still need job software | Owner + 2 employees: $59.95 | Connect 5-user tier: $199 · $149 annual |
| Instant online quotes | Elite ($299.99) | Website quote calculator on Startup; instant quotes and booking from Scaling | Online booking add-on $10/mo; instant pricing not specified | Online booking from Core; instant pricing not specified |
| Upsells and options | Not specified | Tiered options and auto-upsell on every plan | Not specified | Optional line items from Grow |
| Free trial | 14 days | None; free plan and demo | 14 days, no card | 14 days, no card |
ResponsiBid is a quoting layer, not a full job management system. Its “Crew of 3” price looks good, but you’d pair it with Jobber, Housecall Pro, Markate or another CRM it syncs to.
Best all-in-one: QuoteIQ
Best all-in-one for window cleaners
QuoteIQ
- Price
- from $29.99/mo
- Free trial
- 14 days
- Prices checked
QuoteIQ is built for exterior cleaning and route-based services and lists window cleaning among its trades. Essentials ($29.99 a month, 1 user) covers estimates, invoices, scheduling, online payments, customer financing, a client database and review requests. Beginner ($99.99, 2 users) adds MapMeasure Pro satellite measuring and Google Calendar sync. Pro ($199.99, 4 users) adds email and text automation, job costing and QuickBooks. The window-cleaner features most owners ask about, route optimization and instant online quotes and booking, start at Elite ($299.99, 10 users).
Good fit if
- Pressure washing, window cleaning and other exterior services that quote from measurements
- Solo operators who want quoting, invoicing and payments for about $30/mo month-to-month
Skip it if
- Buyers who want years of independent reviews (it's newer than Jobber or Housecall Pro)
- Small crews that need automation (texting/email automation starts at the $199.99 Pro plan)
The Elite jump is the catch. If you want customers pricing themselves online and optimized storefront routes, that’s $270 a month more than Essentials, though Elite covers up to 10 users. Yearly billing charges 10 months for 12, which brings Elite to about $249.99 a month, paid upfront.
Watch the IQ credits. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance (500 on Essentials, 1,500 on Beginner, 3,000 on Pro), and proposals cost 100 credits each below Elite. On Essentials that’s five proposals a month if you spent credits on nothing else.
MapMeasure Pro measures properties from satellite imagery. QuoteIQ’s pricing page doesn’t say it counts windows, so it earns its keep mainly if you also sell house washing or other work priced by measurement.
What works
- Quoting, invoicing and payments for $29.99/mo, month-to-month
- Customer financing on every plan
- Route optimization and instant online quotes on Elite (10 users)
- Yearly billing gives two months free
What doesn't
- Instant online quotes and routes need the $299.99 Elite plan
- Text and email automation starts at Pro ($199.99)
- Proposals use IQ credits below Elite
- Newer than Jobber, with fewer independent reviews
- Card processing fees not listed on the pricing page
Skip it if you’re a small crew that needs automated follow-ups on a budget, or you want a long track record before you commit. More detail: QuoteIQ pricing explained.

Best for instant online quotes and upsells: ResponsiBid
Best for instant quotes and upsells
ResponsiBid
- Price
- Free plan; paid from $179/mo
- Free trial
- No free trial; free Startup plan and a demo
- Prices checked
ResponsiBid does one thing: turn your price list into quotes customers can see and accept. The free Startup plan includes a quoting calculator, a website quote calculator and tiered options with auto-upsell, which is the closest any tool here comes to automatically offering screens, tracks or gutters with every window quote. Scaling ($179 a month) adds instant online quotes and booking, a sales pipeline with email and text follow-up, and sync to Jobber, Housecall Pro, Markate and more. Pro ($229) adds CrewCal scheduling intelligence and success coaching. Every plan includes 1 admin plus unlimited sub-users.
Good fit if
- Established window, pressure washing and cleaning businesses that want customers to get an exact price and book online 24/7
- Owners who already run Jobber or Housecall Pro and want better quoting on top
Skip it if
- New businesses: paid plans start at $179/mo plus an unpublished setup fee
- Anyone wanting one app for everything (it's a quoting layer, not a full job management system)
Seasonal businesses should note the pause option. Monthly plans can pause for $50 a month for up to 4 months a year. A Scaling account paused through four slow winter months costs $1,632 for the year instead of $2,148.
Budget for two bills. Because ResponsiBid doesn’t run your schedule or invoices, the real cost is ResponsiBid plus your job software. Scaling with Jobber Core on annual billing is $208 a month, plus ResponsiBid’s setup fee, which isn’t published. Ask for the setup fee in writing on the demo.
What works
- Free Startup plan with tiered options and auto-upsell
- Instant online quotes and booking from $179/mo
- Unlimited sub-users on every plan
- Can pause for $50/mo in the off-season
- Syncs to Jobber, Housecall Pro and Markate
What doesn't
- No free trial of paid plans
- Setup fee required; amount not published
- Not a full job management system
- Paid plans start at $179/mo before your CRM
Skip it if you’re just starting out (the paid plans plus setup fee are steep for a new route) or you want one app for everything.

Best budget pick when you add a crew: Markate
Best budget pick for adding a crew
Markate
- Price
- from $45.95/mo
- Free trial
- 14 days, no credit card
- Prices checked
Markate lists window cleaning by name and is the cheapest way to run a small crew from one app. Owner Operator is $49.95 a month, or $45.95 billed annually as one $551.40 payment. It includes a jobs pipeline, a drag-and-drop calendar, estimates that convert to invoices, online payments, job costing, time tracking, team chat and profit and loss reporting. Each employee adds $5 a month, so an owner with two helpers pays $59.95.
Good fit if
- Owner-operators adding employees on a tight budget ($5/mo per employee)
- Pressure washing, window cleaning and other trades Markate lists by name
Skip it if
- Owners who want online booking, a customer portal and review requests without stacking $10/mo add-ons
- Buyers who want a large user community and lots of third-party guides
The low base price assumes you skip the extras. Online booking, a customer portal, automated review requests, a lead capture form and a business phone number are each $10 a month. Adding booking, the portal and review requests brings a solo account to $79.95. Markate’s plan details don’t mention instant online pricing, upsell options or route optimization, so check those in the trial.
What works
- $5/mo per employee, the cheapest crew pricing here
- Job costing and P&L reporting on the base plan
- 14-day trial with no credit card
- Annual discount applies to add-ons too
What doesn't
- Online booking, portal and review requests are $10/mo each
- Instant quotes, upsells and routing not specified
- Smaller user community and fewer third-party guides
Skip it if you want online booking, a customer portal and review requests without stacking add-ons, or you rely on community guides to learn new software.
Best for storefront billing and mixed services: Jobber
Best for storefront billing and mixed services
Jobber
- Price
- from $29/mo
- Free trial
- 14 days, no credit card (Grow features)
- Prices checked
Jobber is a generalist, which suits window cleaners who also sell gutters, pressure washing or other add-on services. Core ($49 a month, or $29 billed annually, $21 for the first year on annual prepay) includes quotes, invoices, online booking, scheduling, online payments and a basic website. Connect ($139, or $99 annual) adds automated reminders, quote and invoice follow-ups, automatic payments and QuickBooks Online sync, which could suit storefront accounts you bill on a regular cycle. For upsells, Grow ($199, or $149 annual) adds quotes with photos and optional line items, so a customer can tick screens or tracks on the quote.
Good fit if
- Solo operators willing to prepay annually (Core is $29/mo after the first-year promo)
- Owners who want clients to approve quotes and pay online without phone tag
- Mixed-trade businesses that don't fit a niche tool
Skip it if
- Anyone who must stay month-to-month (list prices run 34–69% above the annual rate)
- Teams that need job costing or two-way texting on a budget (both start at Grow)
Pay annually or pay a lot more. On Core alone, monthly billing costs $240 a year more than the annual rate. Jobber’s plan details don’t list route optimization or per-pane pricing, and crew scheduling is named only on Plus ($499, or $399 annual, for 5 users).
In one r/WindowCleaning thread on the best CRM, owners said Jobber will do the job but called it pricey.
What works
- Online booking and a basic website from Core
- Automated quote follow-ups and automatic payments from Connect
- Optional line items for upsells on Grow
- Card fees published: 2.9% + 30 cents, 1% for US bank payments
What doesn't
- Monthly prices run 34 to 69 percent above annual
- Optional line items and two-way SMS need Grow
- Route optimization not listed in plan details
- Crew scheduling named only on Plus
Skip it if you must stay month-to-month or need upsell options and texting on a budget. See QuoteIQ vs Jobber and our Jobber pricing guide.

Storefront routes: what to check
None of the four pricing pages describes how recurring visits are set up, such as a storefront every two weeks or a restaurant monthly inside-and-out. Before you commit, build three real recurring accounts in the trial and confirm the visits repeat, show up in the right order on the day and invoice correctly.
Route planning matters to owners: in one windowcleaningforums.co.uk thread, UK window cleaners pointed to route apps such as Squeegee and Cleaner Planner, with one noting Squeegee’s route planning isn’t perfect but shows the day’s work on a map. Of the tools here, only QuoteIQ names route optimization, on Elite.
How to choose
- Solo residential route, want one cheap app: start on QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99 month-to-month, or Jobber Core if you’ll prepay a year.
- Customers keep asking “how much?” before they’ll book: ResponsiBid. Try the free Startup calculator on your website, then move to Scaling for instant booking.
- Hiring your first helpers on a tight budget: Markate at $5 per employee, adding only the $10 add-ons you’ll actually use.
- You sell gutters, pressure washing or other services too: Jobber Grow for optional line items, or QuoteIQ if measuring-based exterior work is a big share.
- Test per-pane pricing first. Enter your real price list and re-quote three houses you’ve already priced. If the totals don’t match, the software will cost you more than its monthly fee.
For most solo window cleaners, QuoteIQ is the lowest-risk all-in-one start: month-to-month, with a 14-day trial. Use the trial to price real houses and confirm the plan you’d actually need.

FAQ
What is the best software for a window cleaning business?
For most solo window cleaners, QuoteIQ Essentials ($29.99/mo, month-to-month) covers estimates, invoices, scheduling and payments. If online instant quotes and automatic upsells matter most, ResponsiBid is built for that, with instant booking from $179/mo on top of your job software.
Is there free software for window cleaners?
ResponsiBid's Startup plan is free and includes a quoting calculator, a website quote calculator and tiered upsell options, but it doesn't handle scheduling or invoicing. DoTimely also advertises free window cleaning software. QuoteIQ, Markate and Jobber offer 14-day trials instead.
Which window cleaning software gives customers an instant price online?
ResponsiBid includes instant online quotes and booking from Scaling ($179/mo), and QuoteIQ from Elite ($299.99/mo). Jobber includes online booking from Core and Markate sells it as a $10/mo add-on, but their plan details don't say whether booking forms calculate a price.
Can these apps quote per pane or per window?
None of the four pricing pages spells out per-pane pricing. Build your real price list during a trial or demo and re-quote a few houses you've already priced to confirm the totals match.
What are the best apps for cleaning businesses that also clean windows?
If windows are one service among several, a generalist like Jobber handles mixed work, with optional line items for add-ons on Grow ($149/mo annual). For maid services, see our cleaning business software picks.
